Join other young adults and families for a season of discipleship, leadership development and mission with the local church while working and playing on Canada's West Coast.
What's included?
Christ Community Church is investing in the next generation of leaders and wants to give you a place to develop your character, gifts and calling in a church family committed to your growth as a follower of Jesus.
Practicum students and interns will be given significant opportunities to serve in various ministries and help us initiate new missional expressions, particularly with youth and young adults.
The church will also seek to provide 2-4 free housing options and practicum students and interns will be encouraged to work approx. 30 hours / week in the community to earn money for their schooling, cover personal expenses and promote community engagement.
Who
Our practicum and internship program is primarily for young adults aged 18-25 who desire to grow as disciples of Jesus, leaders in His church and partners in local mission.
We are connecting with several Christian colleges and campus ministries in BC, in addition to providing internship opportunities for young adults taking a "gap year" and wanting to grow and serve in a unique setting.
When
Practicums and internships may begin at different times of the year dependent on availability and school schedules, and can last as long as one year.
Where
Christ Community Church is located in beautiful Ucluelet, BC on Canada's rugged West Coast. You'll be minutes away from the surf at Long Beach, incredible hikes on the Wild Pacific Trail, Pacific Rim National Park, and a multitude of other ocean and wilderness recreation activities.
